Welcome
Welcome to Embrace. We are a caring, collaborative and inclusive Trust with a collective ambition to ensure our children receive an enriching, joyful, and high-quality education.
As a Trust of ten schools, we work together to share good practices, support leadership and develop our teachers and staff. Our goal is to provide an education that promotes both equity and excellence. Our Central Team and Education Leadership Team offer high-quality support services to ensure continuous improvement.
Last week, our School Leaders, History Leads and Classroom Teachers participated in a training session led by the Holocaust Education Trust.
The session explored how to approach this complex and sensitive subject with confidence and care, ensuring that students gain a meaningful and respectful understanding of its historical significance.
Staff engaged with age-appropriate approaches for teaching the topic across both primary and secondary settings. The session covered pre-war Jewish life, using personal stories to help students understand who the victims were, as well as persecution in Nazi Germany and the Holocaust itself.
Thank you to all who attended, we hope you found the session valuable and that it offered practical strategies to support your teaching and wider school practice 🙌 ... See MoreSee Less

Earlier this week, our Early Career Teachers (ECTs) from across Embrace schools came together for an afternoon of collaboration, connection and inspiration 🤝✨🧠
The session provided a valuable opportunity for staff to build connections, share experiences and engage in a supportive environment focused on growth and wellbeing. Year 1 ECTs benefited from the insights and reflections of their Year 2 peers, fostering a sense of shared learning!
Speakers included members of the Embrace Executive Team, Embrace Trust Leader, ECF Leads and Senior Leaders from both primary and secondary settings, who delivered talks on our School Improvement Strategy, Safeguarding and Staff Wellbeing and Benefits 💬⭐️
The event was a great success, helping to ensure our ECTs begin the academic year feeling inspired, confident and well-supported as they embark on their teaching journey with Embrace 🙌🚀 ... See MoreSee Less

Our Year 10 student, Cameron, attended the Regional Development East Midlands Boxing Championships on the 27th September 🥊👏
Being the first bout on a jam packed card, Cameron dug deep and after a rocky start in the first round managed to pull it back and win on a split decision making him the under 48kg champion! 🙌
Cameron has been focusing on these championships since the beginning of the summer holidays, running sprints and over 15km runs, attending one to one training at the weekend, and training 6 times a week since the beginning of term to be the best person on the day to win 🏆
Cameron’s dedication, resilience and hard work now need to continue ready for the National Championships which commence this weekend, Sunday 5th October - good luck Cameron! 🎉🤞 ... See MoreSee Less
